As a parent of Gade Valley School, you are automatically a member of the GVSA, but your involvement is up to you. You may wish to attend meetings with other parents and school staff to discuss ideas and arrange fundraising events. This is a great way to become more involved with your child's school and to meet other parents from all year groups.

Our school is very lucky to have a thriving and committed School Association. During the school year they organise many fund-raising activities, some of which are listed below:
Quiz night, Summer / Christmas fair, Film night.
All these events and more go to raising much needed funds for the school - gone are the days when the money raised was just for 'extras'; we really couldn't manage without their donations. Over the years the money has been spent on the following (and more besides!)
The School Association is registered as a charity.
We are always looking for volunteers to help us and it is a really good way of meeting other parents, socialising and having some fun. It is hard work at times, but without our Gade Valley School Association the school would be much poorer - in every sense! It is your chance to be fully involved in the life of the school.
