Child Protection Procedures

Gade Valley follows the statutory guidelines on child protection.  The school has a ‘Child Protection’ Policy and this is available to any parent who wishes to read it upon request.

Each school has a nominated Designated Safeguarding Person and at Gade Valley this is Mr Daniel Barron (Headteacher) and the deputy DSP is Mrs Amanda Hobbs (SENCO).

Every adult working with the children in school has access to a copy of this policy and works within the given framework.

These procedures are only set in operation when the school has serious concerns about a child’s safety and welfare.

School Rules

Please note that our school is a designated NO SMOKING school, which includes the school grounds .

For the safety of the children, we ask that you do not bring your dogs onto the school grounds.

We also ask that you do not use your mobile phone where children are present.
