In Reception, the pupils enjoyed performing ‘Our First Nativity’ to an audience.

To celebrate World Music Day, Year 3 made straw pan pipes. They put them to good use and tested to see if they could hear the different notes.

In Year 4 they performed their own version of "The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse" by Charlie Mackesy and learnt three different songs to sing during the performance.  Mammia Mia, The River Song and Blackbird.  These are the lyrics in their Learning Journals which they learnt and sung with confidence during the performance.

In Year 1 the children have been exploring rhythmn, learning how to clap along to a simple rhythmn and stay in time with the beat or pulse of the music.  They loved going to watch the musical performance of "We're Going on a Bear Hunt" at Radlett Theatre and then at Christmas they got to perform their own show called "Little Angel gets her Wings" where they were all a different character in the story singing along to retell the Nativity.

In Nursery the children have been learning to remember and sing entire nursery rhymes, at Harvest Festival they learnt the song "I'm a Little Pumpkin" and sang it during the whole school assembly.  They have also been learning to move to music and they love dancing along to Danny Go and moving their body in time to the beat, copying the actions.
