Gade Valley Personal Development Programme

Rationale:

·                           Pupils’ personal development is integral to our school vision of preparing all our pupils for the future by giving them the best possible learning experience.           Personal development builds pupils’ CHAMP attributes, cultural capital and life-skills and is accessible to all.

         Aims:

  •          Develop pupils’ character and social capital through planned experiences that build CHAMP attributes.
  •        Ensure equitable access to personal development for disadvantaged and SEND pupils.
  •        Strengthen curriculum-linked enrichment to improve resilience, communication and cultural capital.
  •          Equip staff to deliver personal development consistently.
