Our Art & Design Learning at Gade Valley

In Year 1, Pupils designed and used folding techniques ti make their own 'Tree of Life.'

In Year 2, pupils made clay tiles. They designed and had to add different textures.

In Year 5, Pupils created their own portraits.

In Reception the children practised some still life drawings of some Spring flowers. The children used pastels to create a variety of colours.

In Year 1, we have been creating 3D structures. The pupils learnt how to fold, roll and bend different papers. As their final piece they used newspaper to create their own fish.

In Year 2, the pupils have designed and made their own clay tile. They had to learn a range of skills to add detail and include it in their final tile.
