Nursery Admissions 2021/2022

We are excited to announce that from September 2021 we will be offering 30 hours provision (funded and non-funded) 

 

Nursery places are offered for children born between 1st September 2017 and 31 August 2018.

Parents must apply to the Nursery that they would like their child to attend. At Gade Valley Primary School children can start our Nursery in the September after their third birthday.

 

Applications for Nursery 2021/22 open - Monday, 1 February 2021

Application closing date - Friday12 March 2021

Allocation Day - Monday,  29 March 2021

Parents/Carers must complete and return their Admission Form as formal acceptance of their place to us by - Friday,  30 April 2021 to secure their place.  Admissions Forms received after this date may result in changes to provision offered.

Nursery Admission Arrangements September 2021 and onwards

 

30 Hour Funding (6 hours a day)

 

8:30am to 2:30pm (Funded by Code)
2:30pm to 3.15pm - Additional provision at £2.60 per session, paid in advance.

The 30 hour funding can be split between two providers as long as both agree to the split. Please contact the school if this is your preference.

 

15 hour place (3 hours a day - am or pm)

Parents can apply for a 15 hour morning or afternoon session. 
We will endeavour to accomodate your preference for morning or afternoon.

Morning sessions starts at 8:30am and ends at 11:30am.

Afternoon sessions start at 12:15pm and ends at 3:15pm.
We also offer extended lunch club from 11:30am to 12:15pm. Children will need to bring their own packed lunch.

 

30 Hours (Non-funded)

8:30am- 11:30am free place (as above).

11:30am - 2:30pm - Extended provision £15.60 per session, paid in advance.
(Children bring their own packed lunch).

2:30pm - 3:15pm - Additional provision at £2.60 per session, paid in advance. 

 

 

All 3 and 4 year olds are entitled to 570 hours of free early education a year, which is equal to 15 hours a week for 38 weeks of the year. From September 2017 some 3 and 4 year olds may be entitled to an additional 570 hours of childcare per year, which is equal to 30 hours a week for 38 weeks of the year. The 30 hour free childcare entitlement is available to working families who meet the eligibility criteria.

Gade Valley Primary School Nursery offers pupils in receipt of 30 hour funding a place from 8.50am to 2.50pm.

 

Parents can collect their child at 2:30pm or if they would like extended hours, can pay for their child to stay in the Nursery until 3:15pm at the cost of £2.60. This fee must be paid in advance to the school. 

Children staying for 30 hour places will need to bring their own packed lunch.

Parents can apply for a 30 hour place at Gade Valley School Nursery from February.  Please see the application dates shown above.
