Gade Schools Family Support

Bringing up children is one of the most important roles anyone can undertake and it can be very challenging at times.  We provide support to families whose children attend any of 17 schools in the Gade Schools Partnership in Hemel Hempstead.  You can approach us directly or through your child(ren)'s school, we are not social services and we will only get involved if you want us to.  We can you with concerns or issues you may have with:

  • Changing schools
  • Temperamental teenagers
  • Loss and bereavement
  • Communicating with your child
  • Family breakdowns
  • General routines e.g. eating, bedtime
  • Finances
  • Bullying
  • Support for children with additional needs
  • Internet safety
  • Domestic violence
  • Smoking, drugs and alcohol
  • Managing challenging behaviour
  • Plus any other concerns you may have

If you are looking for information or support for a child under 5 years old you can contact your local Children's Centre.  The two Children's Centres in our area of Hemel Hempstead are:

Galley Hill Children's Centre -
